How to change password on 17″ MacBook Pro 17?

I have a macbook pro 17 inch and the charger i had for it busted so i have been without my laptop for a few weeks. The problem is i completely forgot my password and I cant even find my Mac OS disk.... any help?

  1. Contact Apple Support with your serial number and registration information and they will help.

  2. I think the only way you can fix that is to call Apple and give them your information like was mentioned before, or just make an appointment with a Mac Genius and go into the store. They’ll usually be able to resolve your problem right away so you can start using your computer as soon as possible.
