I wanna connect my Macbook to my monitor but the only port it has is like a 3-pronged one (I don't know what it's called) and it goes with the plug I'm about to post in the link. How would I go connecting those?

That’s an AC power cord, not a video signal cord. A 3-pronged port on a monitor designed to receive a cord like that would be for AC power, not video.
