How to fix loose hinges on MacBook Pro?
i've read that this is a comon problem.
i would like to recline in bed and use my macbook pro with the lid fully extended and the base of the computer on my thighs (at an angle). the lid will not stay up. it keeps on drooping down and closing on me. i have not had a problem like this with any notebook i've owned before.
You can take it to get the hinges fixed. It shouldnt cost much
you either have to retighten the screws that hold the hinge or you need a new hinge all togather. You will need to strip down some parts in order to see the hinges.
