I will be going to college in the fall to study graphic design. I don't want to spend TOO much on a macbook, because I do have a fabulous PC.. But I need something to take notes, write essays, work in photoshop, ect. I found a deal on craigslist, and I was wondering if this would be suitable:
Apple MacBook White 1.83GH Core 2 Duo 2GIG Memory 60GB HDD+EXTRA - 0
Still under Apple Care's warranty + in Prestine Condition. I still have box and cover for it. Comes with original accessories (restore cd, manual, ac adapters, ...) Price is Firm/Non-Negotiable.
Apple 13-inch Laptop/Notebook MacBook White Core 2 Duo 1.83GHZ, ComboDrive, 60HDD, 2GIG DDR2 667MHZ Memory.
Software: Adobe CS3 Design Premium (Photoshop CS3, Dreamweaver CS3 etc...), Office 2004...
Any opinions would be great!
The thing is, a BRAND NEW one may cost a little more, but I need the SOFTWARE, too.. And the software is what's really expensive here..

honestly you could get a current macbook with more hard drive space a fster processor and 2 gig of ram for about $300 bux more. so no its not a good deal buy one direct from apple and it will be more powerful and hav more hard drive space. happy macing!
Hello Jaimieheart,
Sounds like a great deal. Go for it. MacBooks are good computers anyway. Go for the one with Dream Weaver and Photoshop CS3. You’ll find that you’ll be using the MacBook instead of your PC soon enough. Best of luck with your purchase.
