How to buy a Macbook cheap?

I'm a student and I'm poor. I'm wondering if anyone knows where or how to buy a macbook at the cheapest possible? Any tips would be great. And what kind of macbook should I get for just basic computer/internet stuff?

eBay or Amazon for very used models. Another method is to get a line of credit with Apple and get the Macbook that way. I believe it’s between $50 and $100 a month after options.
theres some colledges that sell them for a lower price
or if you buy it online they give you a free ipod touch isnt that great
or look on craig list
or ebay
or work on a apple store they may have discounts for employees
Just get a simple one from ebay.

Get a job before or after school, on weekends & holidays. If you want Cheap then buy a Dell. If you want the Best, save money and get a Mac.
yeah, get a refurb or a used one. it is definitely cheaper than a brand new one!
Try a penny auction site like Poor daddy’s penny auction house. don’t know if they have a mac book but if they do it would definetly be your cheapest route to get a new one.
