My brother pulled it off the table today by the cord and the screen shattered. 
I talked to the people at the apple store and they said my warrantee doesn't cover damage, it only covers if the machine fails or something. Soo, how much would it cost to replace the screen?

Probably at least $100.
Try looking on Ebay for prices it will be much less than getting one from Apple which you'll probably pay upwards of $200!
