Hi there. I have just sold my Macbook Air and now i need to restore it to the original settings. I cannot find anything in system preferences. Where do i go to and what do i do?
Also, There is no CD/DVD Drive on a macbook air so i cant put in a CD To restore everything to original settings + delete all of my data.

If you have another Mac you can use the CD/DVD Sharing tab in system preferences/sharing and do a clean install of the OS wireless to the airbook. Or you can use a crossover ethernet cable or firewire.
If you don’t have any of those, go to accounts and set up a new account with full privileges and then go to the hard disk icon on the desktop, click on users, find your original user name and drag it to the trash and empty the trash.
