Should I buy a macbook pro or another laptop? Are there any pc's that have better hardware, and less expensive then the macbook pro?

Mac’s are the best computer you can buy.
It all depends on what you would need one for.
But in the end, a Mac is pound for pound just as cheap as a PC.

Personally, I favor macbooks. Macs have more difficult codes for viruses to break, while PC’s are a constant victim of various viruses.
Consider your needs. By the way, if you are planning to get a mac, get more than 1GB for better performance.
I would recommend the Macbook pro, since I’m a mac converter. The Macbook pro has less viruses mainly because not many people use the Macbook pro. However, if your a windows user, it might take some time to adapt to the Mac OS X environment, so if he you don’t want to waste the time to do so, then I would recommend a laptop running windows (Lifebook S6510 by Fujitsu is pretty good). However, if you do get a windows, I don’t recommend Vista, as it’s worse than XP in a few aspects.
PC sucks now coz of Vista. Get a Macbook Pro and you’ll never look back.
