My friend spilled milk on the keyboard of his unibody MacBook. It spilled around over the D key (about the 17th), and it seemed fine after he dried it out. Now, it's getting worse (D key won't respond at times, input won't work after sleep), and we're afraid it will get worse. Is there any way to fix it?
We also know an Apple Genius won't help at all, so please don't recommend that. Anyone know any guides that will help us?

Unfortunately, if you can’t get it professionally cleaned, it looks like you’ll need to replace the keyboard. The aluminum Macbooks can be tough to take apart, but I am sure you could find someone (probably Apple itself) to do it for you.
Best of luck,
